Since you seem to have a sufficient amount of sugary feedback (all of which is accurate), I'll cut to the chase. The first film in itself was a nice, contained tragedy, which is why I never anticipated you making a sequel. After this episode, all I could glean was that our protagonist will be performing an Evan Hanson maneuver (with the one slight alteration) while we follow the exploits of the manliest cop in Michigan. There's an apparent lack of substance.
Regardless, I know a magic Hat's never empty. I don't doubt this series will find footing quickly and easily.
Continue to impress. This is a threat.
